Dave Odd

Since my career in comedy began, I've constantly been asked who my favorite comedian is.  Well, growing up, it was always Sam Kinison.  Hands down.  Well, Sam's been dead nearly two decades now.  In 2010, the answer for me is Dave Odd. 

I first worked with Dave in November of 2009 at one of Tim Owens' shows in Kankakee, IL. although I had seen Dave perform prior.  Dave and I clicked immediately.

Dave is easily the most respected, loved, and hated comic in Chicagoland.  No one in Chicagoland has done more for comedy or comics than Dave Odd.  He is the founder of The Edge Comedy Club which promotes up to three shows per night in the city of

Chicago.  Dave is the one guy who will put up new comics and give them a chance where others do not.  Dave gave me my first showcase in Chicago and my first headlining gig in Chicago.

The naysayers will accuse him of exploiting young comics for money.  If they ever said it to me, I'd hit them in the mouth.  Dave gives people chances and opportunities that no other in the city will.
