I co-host the Tomano & Touhy Radio Show, heard weekday mornings on WYKT-FM (The KAT 105.5) in the Chicago Southland. I am very proud of the work I do with my best friend and brilliant comic, Steve Touhy. I also write, host and produce Mike Tomano's Wild & Free Radio Show, heard Saturday mornings at 7 and Sundays from 11 to Noon, on WKAN (TALK AM1320) in Kankakee, IL. I am the General Manager of STARadio's WKAN/WXNU/WYKT cluster of stations in Illinois.

I'm a horror film buff and classic comedy afficionado, but love all types of great movies. I enjoy all types of good music and have an extensive record/CD library. I am an avid collector of Comedy Albums and read a lot of show-biz biographies, philosophy, and books about music.

The Great Outdoors is a large part of my life. Much of my recreational time is spent in the woods or on the water. I am a hunting and fishing enthusiast. My family and I do a lot of hiking, bicycling, canoeing and camping. I love to teach archery to families.

My political affiliation and loyalty lies firmly with the protection of individual rights, basic principals I believe to be the foundation of a truly free American society.

Letter Writing is an obsession of mine and I am apt to write three or four letters a week. The majority of my letter recipients are elected officials.
